The father of landscape architecture had a hand is shaping the historic Village of Pinehurst.
Best know of his design of Central Park in New York City, Boston Common and the grounds at the Biltmore House, Frederick Law Olmstead was hired by the Tufts family in 1895 to design the outdoor spaces we enjoy today in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
